Lagos Governor, Sanwo-Olu visits Hilda Baci (Video)
Babajide Sanwo-olu, the governor of Lagos State, stops over to take in the legendary chef Hilda Baci’s Cook-A-Thon, which aims to break the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking period.
The governor of Lagos State was welcomed as a guest at the marathon cooking location by the 27-year-old chef who is trying to break the record for the longest cooking period.
Sanwo-olu praised the chef and wished her well as she brought the crown home in a statement via Instagram.
“I showed up to support Chef Hilda Baci, in her quest to break the Guinness World Record @GWR for the longest time spent cooking by an individual.
Her commitment, love of cooking, and desire to promote our rich culture by showcasing not only our cuisine but also the fortitude, tenacity, vigor, and teamwork that have come to be associated with Lagos and Nigeria in general are very impressive.
Hilda starting this adventure in our state makes us proud. I’ll keep up with the developments and anticipate the definitive statement.

With a few hours left, Hilda Baci can surpass Chef Lata London’s record of 87 hours, 45 minutes set in Rewa, India in 2019. Hilda Baci is now at over 70 hours.
