Stop Calling Me Ghana Chris Brown, I Want To Be Me – Mr. Drew

Mr. Drew has requested Ghanaians and his followers to stop referring to him as “Ghana’s Chris Brown” during an interview with Kojo Manuel on YFM.

The dancer and musician who specializes in highlife and afrobeats gave his opinion on the comparison between himself and the well-known R&B artist.

Mr. Drew said he preferred to be known simply as Mr. Drew rather than as the Ghanaian incarnation of any particular person.

Mr. Drew claims that having a connection to Chris Brown puts him under a lot of strain and might push him in the direction of some things he consciously tries to stay away from.

My preference is that people stop referring to me as Ghana’s Chris Brown. That’s all I want to be; I just want to be Mr. Drew,” he said.
