Following the recent approval of the Narcotics Control Commission Amendment Bill 2023, Ghanaian drill rapper Yaw Tog has indicated significant interest in entering into cannabis growing.

The bill’s passage has transferred authority for providing cannabis growing permits to the Ministry of Interior, creating a favorable atmosphere for potential investors in the business.
Yaw Tog, best known for his hit song “Sore,” sees this as a feasible commercial possibility and is exploring obtaining a license to cultivate cannabis.
The skilled rapper offered his opinions on the possible prospects of cannabis production in a candid interview with BRYT TV.
He stated that if he had the financial wherewithal and believes it would be a viable company, he would seriously explore entering the cannabis sector.
However, he recognized that this decision would be based on the current circumstances and business feasibility.
Yaw Tog’s proactive commitment to diversifying his investments is reflected in his interest in pig farming.
In addition to his singing career, the young singer has started a large pig farm in Kumasi, demonstrating his entrepreneurial energy and financial aptitude.
While focusing on expanding his businesses, Yaw Tog has been public about his decision not to attend university.
In an interview with Hello FM in Kumasi, the 20-year-old high school graduate explained that he firmly believes his music career and other endeavors will provide him with the means to sustain himself in life. As a result, he currently has no immediate plans to attend university, emphasizing the importance of self-sufficiency through his chosen path.
