In an interview with Ghanaian radio host Nana Romeo on the Ayekoo Ayekoo programme on Accra 100.5 FM, actor Kwaku Manu revealed that despite being a Seventh-Day Adventist by birth, he had disowned the church without any remorse.
The actress claimed, “I used to be an SDA member, then I moved to Mama Vida's church. Since it's a fitting and conducive place, I stayed put.”
He requires “an arm that is heavy and strong to push him [forward], both physically and spiritually,” Kwaku Manu says, because his profession “involves many people.”
The need for a church that ensures spiritual fortification is another point Kwaku Manu makes.
“It's possible for some folks to be either for or against what I'm saying. I work as an actor. Numerous people are also involved in this job. You cannot stand before or guide hordes of people if your spirit is not hefty and robust, he remarked.
He continued, “So looking at the home I'm from and looking at myself—I always say my spirit talks to me—I couldn't have come out [of anonymity, staying there].
