Samini, a prominent NPP campaigner, has explained why he backed President Nana Addo Dankwa and the NPP in the 2020 national elections.
As a fan of President Nana Akufo-Addo's policies, he claimed to have backed the ruling party in the elections.
“I am a supporter of Nana Akufo-Addo's policies, but I do not carry a membership card for the NPP. That is what drew me to his policies and the idea that he should stick with what he has been doing rather than change,” he remarked.
Samini refuted the claims that he was an NPP member during an interview with TV3.
In addition, Samini claimed that the NPP's programmes of “Free SHS,” “One District, One Factory,” and “One Village, One Dam” led him to vote for them in the most recent elections.
