“I’m Completely Out Of Politics Now” – Kwabena Kwabena

Not to be confused with the New Patriotic Party (NPP), renowned highlife artist Kwabena Kwabena said that he is no longer affiliated with any political party.

When the NPP was running for government in 2016, Kwabena Kwabena supported the party wholeheartedly, even putting out a song in support of the campaign.

But in a recent interview on TV3’s New Day, he declared unequivocally, “I am out of politics completely.” In answer to inquiries over his participation in the impending election, he stated, “I am Ghanaian.”

Notable people have voiced their displeasure with the NPP’s performance, which has drawn criticism for alleged economic mismanagement.

The NPP’s vice president and flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, just addressed Ghanaians on February 7, 2024, and his proposals are being seen with skepticism, which is why Kwabena Kwabena has decided to disassociate himself from political connections.

Critics doubt the practicality of these measures, particularly in light of the difficulties the present administration is having in resolving economic issues.
