“I Divorced My Wife Because She Slapped Me And I Fell” – Akrobeto Reveals

Famed Ghanaian actor and broadcaster Akwasi Boadi, better known by his stage name Akrobeto, recently spoke up about the breakdown of his marriage in a lighthearted yet intimate way.

Akrobeto claims that his wife’s violent slap that knocked him down ended their marriage.

He said that the hit was so hard that it knocked him out. The comedic actor claimed he went to notify both families that the marriage would be annulled in order to prevent a worse scenario in the future.


“In 2006, I tied the knot with my spouse. My wife smacked me, and I fell, but that’s not why I divorced her. Akrobeto jokingly recalled on Accra-based UTV, “I am afraid of marriage now.”

“We all make mistakes, but please, marriage is all about understanding. I thought it was 10 years since they got married,” he lauded.
