“Last December I Made About $5000 To $6000 Weekly On TikTok” – Comedian Waris

Comedian Waris disclosed that generating material on Facebook brought in his greatest monthly earnings of $9,000.

And he revealed that he was earning $5,000 to $6,000 a week on TikTok as of December of last year.

Comedian Waris discussed these observations with Anita Akufo and Godwin Namboh on TV3's The Afternoon Show.



“The most I have ever received from Facebook is about $9,000 a month. Sabinus is who he is, and Nigerians purchase homes like that because Facebook pays more than that. Some social media profiles generate more revenue than others. With TikTok, I was able to get close to $5000 to $6000 in only one week in December,” he said.

He emphasized Ghana's difficulties in monetizing social media platforms, even as he acknowledged the financial benefits of creating content for social media. Some content producers have decided to work with their Nigerian counterparts as a result of this.
