KD Bakes Bags First Award with his hit single, “Carry Me Away”.

Super talented singer, KD Bakes has secured first award for his first hit single of the year titled, Carry Me Away.
Labeled “Standout Artiste of the Moment”, it was presented by legendary music engineer Apietus at the Volta Music Project organized by MUSIGA.
According to StandOut Entertainment the orchestrators of the awards spearheaded by Bright Ellis, it is an online award scheme instigated to reward budding and promising artists in the region who have released songs within each quarter of the year ultimately putting the premium on listeners attitude towards the songs.


KD beats competition from 6 other popular artistes including Agbeshie, Kossi Bone, Hecta and Keeny Ice with close to 50% of the total votes cast which underscores the quality of work the artiste is churning out to music fans all over the world.
Bakes has been tipped by many key industry players to take over the music scene this year and the from what we've seen so far, he's clearly on that trajectory and it is only fitting that we don't sleep on him but rather give him the due support he needs to make Volta and Ghana proud.
