Don’t tag me with that “Shatta” brand – Michy begs Ghanaians

Shatta Michy is working really hard to get the Shatta Tag off herself.

According to her, although she was part of the “Shatta Story”, she wants to own her brand now and therefore calling on her supporters to respect her decision.

She indulges the public to refer to her as Michy and not Shatta Michy as she has been referred to over the years.

She was speaking to MzGee.

She said “I want people to accept me for me, not tag me to that brand even though I have been a part of the story. I just want to be known for me, it is like owning my brand. I have been a part of the story, building the empire”.
