Nomination Opens for Volta Music Awards 2020
Nomination Opens for Volta Music Awards 2020. Eventic GH, organizers of the annual Volta music awards has officially opened nomination for the 2020 edition scheduled for March next year. About 27 categories including the ultimate “Artiste of the year” are opened for entries till 31st December 2019.

In a statement signed by the organizers of the show, they further revealed that, Prior to the official opening for nominations, radio tour in the region are conducted to give more information about the Volta Music Awards 2020.
They, however, indicated 3 out of the 27 categories are non-public vote categories which will be voted for by an electoral college already set up by the board.
The year under review for this year's edition is 1st December 2018 to 30th November 2019. After filing, the board made up of some key players in the industry will spend weeks to review and finally select songs for each category for public voting.
Volta music award is an initiative by Eventic GH and their prospective partners to rewards and award hardworking musicians that are promoting Volta excellence through music.

4. Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year
5. Reggae/Dancehall Song of the Year
6. Hiplife Artiste of the Year

10. Hip-Pop Song of the Year
11. Most Popular Song of the Year
12. Best Rapper of the Year
13. Traditional Song of the Year
14. Best Collaboration of the Year
15. Best Music Video of the Year
16. Best Group of the Year
17. Discovery of the year
18. Online influencer of the Year
19. Media House of the Year
20. Best Performer of the Year
21. Producer/Sound Engineer of the Year
22. Best DJ/Promoter of the Year
23. Best Entertainment School of the Year
24. Best Entertainment Company of the Year

“I Envy Kofi Kinaata A Lot” – Okyeame Kwame (Video)
Ghanaian rapper Kwame Nsiah-Apau, known by his stage name Okyeame Kwame and nicknamed Rap Doctor, opened up in a recent interview with YouTuber Kwadwo Sheldon about how he and rapper and cum singer Martin King Arthur made up a great song together.
According to the veteran rapper who reevaluated in the interview, he envies Kofi Kinaata for his lyrical prowess. He also revealed how Kofi was able to write his chorys with ease and, in the end, even helped him (Okyeame Kwame) write some rap lines.
When asked which elements propel him to come out with nice songs, rapper Okyeame Kwmane revealed that he gets to the studio happily to make songs; not drugs or anything else pushes him to write good songs. However, he revealed that he feels best when the lights in the studio are on and clear to enhance his rapping prowess.
In this same interview, Okyeame Kwame revealed that he is a happy person, he does not hold grudges, and he is compassionate.
