“I Regret Doing Music” – Trigmatic Explains (Video)

Enoch Nana Yaw Oduro-Agyei, well known in the music industry as Trigmatic, has confessed that he regrets his decision to pursue music.

He claims that he hasn't received the required backing from other industry participants, particularly the media.

In an interview with Halifax Addo on Okay FM's Best Entertainment show, he said he has committed his time and effort to promote Ghanaian music by fostering emerging artists, but his songs have yet to be broadcast on the radio.

Trigmatic stated that he need the essential backing from other industry participants as motivation to do more for the business by boosting skills, but he was ignored, and he considered resigning at one time.

He regretted the fact that while most industry players and cooperative bodies he met in the process of putting this effort together commended him for his excellent ideas, none of them were prepared to support it because it was not financially useful to them.

Another point raised by the rapper was how the Ghana Music Rights Organization (GHAMRO)'s incompetence affected his choice not to renew his membership when it expired.

He also urged other GHAMRO members to raise the appropriate questions and insist on their rights not being infringed upon.
