The 22nd edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards was divided into a two-day show to as a measure against the spread of the novel coronavirus. The show was held at the Accra International Conference Centre, on Friday, June 25 and Saturday, June 26 which is spacious enough to admit the limited guests.

VGMA22 saw some history being made as the ‘Fante Rap God’ Kofi Kinaata won the ‘Songwriter of the Year‘ for the fourth time in a row. Adina also took home the ‘Record of the Year‘ which automatically put Richie ahead of other producers in Ghana since the ‘Sound Engineer of the Year‘ category was reserved for one who produced the song which won the Record of the Year.
