“Plenty Song No Dey Measure Success” – M.anifest

M.anifest, the popular Ghanaian rapper, claims that an artist's quantity of tracks does not influence their success in the music business.

Musicians should not measure their success by the number of songs they have published, according to the singer of “Nowhere Cool.”

The award-winning rapper discusses why he occasionally takes his hands off the wheel while managing his career in 3 minutes of CNN's “African Voices Changemakers: #MyDriveWithManifest.”

In a short documentary titled “African Voices,” he told CNN about his most successful song, saying, “My most successful song is my next song if you're simply talking numbers, but that's not what the measure of success is for me.” A musician's success should not be evaluated by the number of songs he or she has written.”

The artist, who also stated that he is not a one-shot artist, believes that he has only touched the surface of his potential.

As an independent artist, he has learned to expand and create structure, as well as collaborate with others. “For a long time in my career, I relied on my ambition, my gift, and the work that I do, but there are ways to expand and create structure, as well as collaborate with others, in which an independent artiste will make it more effective,” he said.
