Adina known in real life as Adina Thembi Ndamse, the well Ghanaian singer, has said that her career has seen many ups and downs.

According to the ‘WHY’ crooner, she thought that winning the ‘Stars of the Future’ talent contest in 2008 would be her break, but that was not the case.

Adina went on to say that she becomes a successful artist because of her perseverance, drive, and enthusiasm.

“To tell you the truth, my musical career has been a difficult one, but I’ve never given up. In an interview with Graphic Showbiz, she remarked, “I became encouraged by other female artists who are doing so well, and today I can proudly say that I am one of the finest female musicians in Ghana.”

“You will undoubtedly grin in the future if you are focused and know what you want. Even though the trip had not been easy, I believed in myself and understood what I had. I knew I was going to make it. You will succeed if you have the proper management and continue to make the appropriate sort of music.” She continued.

Adina praised her manager, Kwame Fakye, for being the “backbone” of her career. She remembered a few times where she was approached by a few record labels about signing her, but she rejected them since they did not match her standards.

“I’ve been working with Kwame Farkye since 2012, and his NAM album has seen a lot of action. The next record label that wants to sign me has to persuade me to quit, which I don’t think will happen anytime soon. We’ve gone through a lot together, and even if things are going well today, I can’t help but think about all the nice things he’s done for me,” she added.
