Mrs. Precious Frimpong, also known as Fella Makafui in the Ghanaian entertainment industry, has launched a #FreeShattaWale campaign on social media.
We previously reported that the dancehall musician had been arrested by the police after claiming to have been shot by unknown gunmen in East Legon, an allegation that turned out to be a ruse staged by the musician and some of his team members.
Nana Dope, the musician’s publicist, stated that the musician has been taken to a private hospital’s emergency department, where he is battling for his life. The revelation rocked the whole digital sphere, with netizens expressing their outrage over Shatta Wale’s attack.
According to a statement published by Shatta Wale, the prank was inspired by a death prophesy given by a man of God named Jesus Ahuofe. According to Shatta Wale, security officials failed to pay heed to the doom prophecy and made no attempt to ensure his safety, forcing him to flee.
The man of God, as well as Shatta Wale, his publicist, and another member of his crew were all detained for allegedly staging the incident to instill fear and terror.
Fella Makafui, a friend of Shatta Wale’s who has always referred to him as her son, has launched a #FreeShattaWale campaign on social media.
