“My Mother Enjoy My Secular Music Even Though She Is A Christian Leader” – Kwabena Kwabena

George Kwabena Adu, better known by his stage name Kwabena Kwabena, has said that his mother, while being a devout Christian, nevertheless supports and loves his career as a secular artist.

Kwabena Kwabena's mother, Madam Beatrice Yeboah, is the Area Women's Leader for the Apostolic Church of Ghana but still supports his trade, according to an interview on Okay FM with Abeiku Santana on Ekwansodwodwo.

His mother, he claims, compliments him on his job and believes he is a good fit for the vocation he has chosen. He claims that his mother knows him better than anybody else in his life and that if she supports him in his endeavors, she knows what is best for him.

However, M.anifest, the Ghanaian rapper has decried the media's role in impeding the growth of potential hitmakers at the expense of only a few major artists.

M.anifest recently spoke with Graphic Showbiz about Amaarae, who is doing Ghana proud by appearing on the US Billboard charts despite not having the support of the Ghanaian media.
