“I Collected Rubbish To Raise Money As A Child” – Fameye Discloses

Fameye claimed that after losing his parents when he was a child, he had to gather the trash from his neighbors in a wheelbarrow to make ends meet.

Fameye confessed to MzGee on “Just Being Us” that life became difficult once he moved in with another family member and her whole family after leaving his extremely caring grandma.

While he recognized the value of hard labor, he believed he was being overwhelmed with housework when his guardians might have assisted him.

“Because there was no money coming in and all that,” he said, “I had to do additional labor for other people, for my neighbors.”

He began his day by rising up before daybreak “4 with a wheelbarrow, I will gather the rubbish from people's homes and transport it to the dumpsite in order to make money,” he explained.

He also said that people were perplexed as to why he lived with a wealthy family yet was always perceived as destitute.

Fameye further remarked that remembering these occurrences brought tears to his eyes every time he thought about them.
