“Stop Saying You Discovered Kofi Kinaata, Even His Father Couldn’t Discover Him” – Prince Henry Tells Dr.Pounds

It was reported a few days ago by Dklassgh.com that a popular Ghanaian media figure, Maximous Mensah, best known as “Dr. Pounds,” disclosed in an interview with Delay that he had discovered high-life finest Kofi Kinaata.

According to Dr. Pounds, he used to organize rap battles between rappers from Cape Coast and Takoradi, and at the time, Kofi Kinaata was already on Kasahare with Kwame Amofa of Melody FM in Takoradi.

Dr. Pounds claims that Kofi Kinaata defeated all of the rappers he brought from Cape Coast, and as a result, he became friends with him and began mentoring him in the art of rap music.

However, Prince Henry the Happy Face, former co-host of TV3's music music, seems to be unhappy with Dr Pounds' saying he discovered Kofi Kinaata.

Expressing his disappointment, Prince Henry took to his Facebook page to pour his heart out. He wrote: 

STOP BRAGGING THAT YOU DISCOVERED KOFI KINAATA ..EVEN HIS FATHER COULDNT DISCOVER HIM ….Former Co presenter Tv3 Music Music Prince Henry the Happy Face ….

Stop the lies u started the show for tadi rappers doesn't mean u are the one to discover him we know the hustle kofi went through we brought him to stage in abura in cape coast years we even saw the shine many people contributed to his shine how about saminis manager and others listen from grass root he encountered people like us at first he was shy he never knew he has fans ..so nyiraba kojo was the one who advice him to be confident on that show he was like make he move ..then he took the slogan” team move”for vhim reasons years after experience in his art initially about two times he still couldnt then later he entered back to back he has a story pounds on eagle fm before his infact before you were sacked from eagle fm cape coast c-poly now cape coast technical university's fm station heard of him and interviewed him some one got you his songs i beg so listen it doesn't mean u discovered him fast forward to accra and later on plus fm didnt make u discover him kofi has been the peoples favoirite back there in tadi we support our own that why we call it home support if u introduced him to the program doesnt make u a descovery discovery even melody cant claim that kofi has been in history back then in tadi he is humble and will allow u to take part of the glory but pounds dont say you discovered them what did u do for oja..420..kobby simple…okoto perry….and the squared listen men we have been in the game remember u took some cash to interview us on ohohuu molatos song some time back for his album bash in cape coast will u say is discovery listen men the industry have seen men who pulled out people from studios to recording them i have seen years of pain in the tv industry recognised in the presenters awards night the maiden edition we entered without ticket and made pictures with dignitories but refused to take copies men the hustle of kofi has nothing to do woth u he is the difnition of hustle and westside legacy
