Chris Rock was claimed to have made a joke about Jada Pinketh's shaved hair, but he ended up breaking his jawbone when he was slapped on stage in front of the audience by Will Smith.

The incident was believed to have thrown the academy into disrepute, with the majority of fans and award show attendees criticizing Will Smith for causing such a ruckus on stage over what many viewed as a small matter.

In response, Abeiku Santana, speaking on his Okay FM show Ekwansodwodwo, declared that, based on what transpired between Will Smith and Chris Rock that night, this year's 3Music Awards were far superior to the Oscars.
