“We All Enjoy Watching Efia Odo” – Deputy General Secretary Of The New Patriotic Party (NPP)
Nana Obiri Boahen, the Deputy General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has weighed in on the controversy generated by socialite and actress Efia Odo's attire during Kwesi Arthur's album listening performance.
Efia was hardly covering her chest at the event, which took place on Thursday at the Barbados Lounge, Airport.
Her fashion sense has sparked outrage on social media, with calls for her arrest, particularly from lawyer Maurice Ampaw, who has been accused of partial nudity.
But, in response to the event, Nana Obiri Yeboah, a lawyer, remarked that, when looking over Ghana's criminal codes, the requests for arrest may be in the right way.
Whether or not Maurice Ampaw is correct in his calls for arrest, and I may agree with him given the nudity regulations, the truth is that we all like seeing Efia Odo dress. I'm pretty active on social media, so I keep an eye on these things.
However, he told Okay FM in Accra, “I will not go further into it; instead, I will develop my opinion in my head and remain mute about it.”
On the other hand, Efia Odo can argue that she hasn't broken any laws because it's her niche and way of dressing, he said.
