“I need a new TABLE tomorrow‘ – Empress Gifty Mocks Piesie Esther for losing Artiste Of The Year At VGMA 2023

Piesie Esther, a gospel performer, was heavily favored to take home the night’s top honor, “Artist of the Year,” at the 2023 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

The ‘Waye Me Yie’ hitmaker and the renowned gospel music group ‘Table of Men’ both made significant efforts to promote this story.

According to reports, The Table Of Men is a collection of media figures from the gospel community who aim to further, among other things, the agenda of the nation’s gospel musicians.

One of the key members of the group, Kwesi Ernest, in various interviews he granted pronounced that Piesie Esther was going to win the award no matter what, even though the signs showed that Black Sherif stood the best chance at winning this coveted award.

Piesie Esther was unsuccessful in winning the award in spite of all the campaigns run by the Table of Men and the promises they made to the gospel music community.

Soon after the 2023 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards named Black Sherif “Artiste of the Year,” gospel singer Empress Gifty posted a subtle jab at the Table of Men on her Facebook wall.

After the awards ceremony, she remarked that she would need a new table and included laughing emojis.

A lot of the people who have commented on the post have attributed her post to the Table of Men and indicated that she is subtly mocking them because they failed to help Piesie bag the award.
