I Did The Beyoncé Collaboration For The Love Of My Fans – Shatta Wale
Charles Nii Armah Mensah, better known as Shatta Wale, the Ghanaian reggae and dancehall musician, recently talked openly about the difficulties he encountered when working with Beyoncé, an American recording artist.
Speaking on the Twitter platform “Konnekt with Shatta Wale,” he admitted that the Ghanaian official in charge of organizing the partnership made the procedure difficult.
Due to the problems the organizer was causing, Shatta Wale originally had second thoughts about continuing the relationship.
He said the coordinator was hurried and spoke in an impolite manner, which bothered him.
“He was rushing, ‘chale what what, chale this and that’, and I told him to shut up, don’t tell me that, don’t shout like that. He was like, ‘she said she’ll come next week, we have to shoot the video now, and you see all those things, it does not move me”, Shatta said.
However, despite these challenges, his love for his fans motivated him to proceed with the collaboration.
He shared, “I did it because I love the fans, that is why I stressed myself.”
