I Wanted To Step Down Just Six Months After Managing Shatta Wale – Bulldog
According to Shatta Wale Bullgod’s manager, after working with the dancehall musician for the first six months, he wanted to leave because he did not understand him.
The former manager of Shatta Wale, known as Bulldog, revealed in a candid interview with Ato Kwamina D’Gem on the Entertainment Review Show broadcast on Connect FM that he found it difficult to understand Shatta Wale’s conduct and activities.
Bulldog had a nuanced response when asked if Shatta Wale was the most difficult musician he has worked with, saying, “I will say yes and no.”
He spoke in detail about the challenges of the profession, emphasizing the significance of coming to the studio to record, market work, and film videos—all common tasks that did not provide particularly challenging tasks. But he found the extra elements to be the most difficult.
Bulldog continued by saying that he found it difficult to handle Shatta Wale’s erratic remarks and the ensuing media backlash. He cited occasions when he had to deal with crisis management only to get calls from other media outlets as a result of Shatta Wale making contradictory claims elsewhere.
There was little time for actual work because of all the firefighting, which was exhausting for Bullgod.
