“You’re a coward, you can diss Mahama but afraid of Nana Addo” – DKB mercilessly descends on Sarkodie

Derick Kobina Bonney, better known by his stage name DKB has launched a vicious attack on Sarkodie by charging him with hypocrisy over his position on President Nana Akufo-Addo's administration.

In spite of Sarkodie's reputation as a political critic and a hard-core battle rapper, DKB has said that he is afraid to meaningfully attack the current administration.

Sarkodie is the subject of DKB's criticism for allegedly refusing to enter the studio to record a diss track directed at President Nana Akufo-Addo, like he did during the administration of former president Mahama.

It is worth noting that Sarkodie is known for his lyrical prowess and has not shied away from engaging in public spats through his music.

For instance, he called out Yvonne Nelson, a prominent actress, in his single ‘Try Me,' addressing their past relationship.

But according to DKB, Sarkodie has been conspicuously silent regarding President Nana Akufo-Addo.

Regarding the role of artists and celebrities in discussing political and social issues, the DKB claim of hypocrisy raises certain concerns.

While Sarkodie has utilized music to convey his opinions and criticize numerous facets of Ghanaian society, DKB contends that his hesitation to criticize the current administration reveals a double standard.
