I Have No Hand In MohBad’s Death – Naira Marley Opens Up

Naira Marley, the head of Marlian Records and a Nigerian artist, has repeatedly refuted claims that he was somehow involved in Mohbad's death.

Netizens have accused Naira Marley of encouraging Mohbad's friend Sam Larry and other people to threaten and harass the late singer after he left Marlians Records in the wake of Mohbad's death.

Old footage showing Sam Larry bullying and harassing Mohbad repeatedly before his death caused the debate to worsen.

Naira Marley and Sam Larry came under fire on social media after the videos incited fury among Nigerians.

Bullying the late artist has also been charged against Naira Marley.

Mohbad passed away on September 12 and was buried in Ikorodu, Lagos, the following day. Conspiracy theories and controversy surrounding the singer's passing have persisted.

The Marlian boss answered the claims on Tuesday by posting a formal statement on his Instagram account. Since Mohbad's passing, Naira Marley has made two public statements.

Naira Marley made it plain that neither he nor anybody else ever physically hurt Mohbad or demanded that they harass or abuse him.

Naira Marley continued by expressing his sincere condolences to the deceased person's family and reiterating his commitment to establishing his innocence and working with the police to clear his name if there is adequate evidence.
