Cal Wilson was a New Zealander stand-up comedian, author, radio and television presenter who established an outstanding specify in the entertainment industry. She co-founded the Court Jesters improv group in 1990 and was part of the New Zealand team that won the World Theatresports title in Los Angeles in 1994.

Cal Wilson started appearing in stand-up comedy full-time in 1997 and shared the Billy T Award with Ewen Gilmour.

Cal Wilson passed away at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Camperdown, Sydney following a short illness on October 11, 2023.  At the time of this report, the exact cause of her death was unavailable.
