Cal Wilson is a New Zealander- based Australian comedian, author, radio and television presenter widely known for her remarkable performance. Cal was born in Camperdown, New South Wales on 5 October, 1970, hence she is 53 as of now. Cal Wilson was born to Murry Gauge Wilson and Audree Wilson.  Following her love life, Cal Wilson has a son named Digby with her husband Chris Woods.

 She experienced her formative years in New Zealand, where she received her education at Christchurch and completed a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Canterbury.

Cal Wilson's death was confirmed in a statement released via her official and verified Instagram account.

“We are devastated to share the news that Cal Wilson, the much-loved stand-up comedian, writer, and actor died today, surrounded by family and friends in hospital after a short illness. Cal was loved by her family, friends, fans, and peers and a huge hole has been torn in the heart of our community”

Cal Wilson died on October 11, 2023, at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Camperdown, Sydney, after a brief illness.  The actual reason of her death remained unknown at the time of this publication.

Following her remarkable career, Cal Wilson, a New Zealand comedian, co-founded the Court Jesters improv group in 1990 and won the World Theatresports title in Los Angeles in 1994. She transitioned to stand-up comedy and won the Billy Td in 1997. Wilson has appeared on various Australian comedy shows, including SkitHOUSE, Rove Live, Good News Week, Spicks and Specks, The Project, Celebrity Name Game, Show Me the Movie!, and Hughesy, We Have a Problem.

Cal Wilson also wrote the screenplay for the New Zealand sitcom Willy Nilly and appeared in the eighth series of the Australian version of Dancing with the Stars.  Cal Wilson has also hosted the program Sleuth 101 and participated in the Great Australian Bake Off in 2022.
