”ECG Please Keep Lights On For Me From December 24Th To January” – Singathon Lady, Asantewaa Begs

An impassioned plea to the Electricity of Ghana (ECG) has been sent by Afua Asantewaa Aduonum ahead of her effort to shatter the record for the longest singing marathon by an individual.

Afua was questioned over the event's planning and how she would handle a potential ECG “dumsor” in a video that was made public.

According to the female advocate, the plans for the singathon are well thought out.

She said that generators and UPSs would be ready for any power interruption.

When they declared themselves prepared, she pleaded with ECG not to turn off the electricity while she was singing.

From December 24 until the first week of January, Afua Asantewaa begged them to leave the lights on for her.
