Cookie Tee, a media personality from Ghana who co-hosts TV3’s New Day Show, has suggested that the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) submit a letter to Guinness World Records in order to compete in the dumsor-a-thon competition.
While co-hosting the TV3 New Day morning show with renowned media figure Naa Ashorkor, Cookie Tee made these amusing remarks.
Her lighthearted comments followed a caller’s complaint that his lights were out from January 8 to January 11 and that ECG had not yet turned on the power in his neighborhood.
“At this point I just think that the ECG can maybe write to Guinness World Records to get into the Dumsor-a-thon competition,” she said.
She added that since ECG has already done 55hours of dumsor, then she believes they can do same for the rest of the year.
Naa Ashorkor pleaded with Cookie Tee not to provoke ECG to accept the dumsor-a-thon challenge.
