NFL Star Jeremiah Owusu Converts To Islam As He Visits Ghana

According to reports by Ghanaian entertainment writer Olele Salvador, during his most recent trip to Ghana, NFL player Jeremiah Owusu, who is based in the United States and is well-known for his viral traditional Ghanaian attire worn before NFL games, showed some kindness and paid a visit to The Okyehene, Osagyefuo Nana Amoatia Ofori Panin Okyenhene.

Jeremiah is a native of Kyebi, which is located in Ghana’s east. Dentaa disclosed this information on her Instagram. But that’s not all.

Jeremiah also visited His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, the National Chief Imam of Ghana. The National Chief Imam of Ghana gave the linebacker the name “Usmanu Sharubutu” after he accepted Islam as his religion yesterday.
