Kanye West Demands Joint Custody Of Children In Kim Kardashian Divorce
In their continuing divorce, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are seeking joint legal and physical custody of their four children.
On Friday, April 9, the rapper's lawyers filed a response to Kardashian West's February divorce filing in Los Angeles superior court, ending their six-and-a-half-year union.
According to TMZ, Kanye's response to Kardashian's February divorce filing is “basically a mirror image” of his estranged wife's petition, accepting that the marriage should end due to irreconcilable differences and that the two share custody of their children: North, 7, Saint, 5, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, who will turn two next month.
West also requests that the court's right to grant spousal support to any party be terminated, similar to Kardashian West's filing.
The two have a prenuptial agreement, according to Kardashian West's 19 February petition, and they kept their property separate during their marriage under it.
