“Ghana Music Industry Is Failing Because Of Shatta Wale”-Video Director, David Nicol Sey
In his latest tweets, award-winning Ghanaian music video director David Nicol Sey took a shot at Shatta Wale, the self-proclaimed dancehall king.
Shatta Wale, he claims, is the fundamental reason why Ghana's music industry has lagged behind that of other countries such as Nigeria.
His remarks follow Shatta Wale's contentious Snapchat post, in which he said that some music video directors are filming videos to compete with international musicians like Jay Z, while he has been making money from the same videos that others have criticized as being poorly produced.
