Rev. Owusu Bempah And 3 Others To Be Put Before Court For Allegedly Attacking Police Officers
Reverend Isaac Owusu-Bempah, the Founder and Leader of the Glorious Word Power Ministries International, and three others will appear in court this morning, Monday, September 3, for allegedly assaulting police officers on the grounds of his church.
Michael Boateng, Frederick Ohene, and Nathaniel Agyekum are the three other suspects, according to the police. Two other people are rumored to be on the run.
The suspects had made and disseminated several films involving threats, the displaying of a weapon, and the attack of certain police officers, according to a statement from the Police Public Affairs Department.
“After thoroughly studying the abovementioned recordings and gathering intelligence, the police launched an operation at the church's grounds today, Sunday, September 12, 2021, to apprehend the suspects.
“During the operation, several members of the church believed to have been under the command of Reverend Bempah, attacked some police officers.”
