“Cardi B Gave Me $30,000 For My Court Case” – Akuapem Poloo Reveals

Cardi B, the American rapper, has been a guardian angel to Rosemond Brown, better known as Akuapem Poloo, the Ghanaian actress and musician. Their connection extends beyond social media.

Following their meeting in Ghana in 2019, the two have been in continuous touch via Instagram, where Cardi has been watching and commenting on Poloo's postings.

But, according to the most recent discovery, Akuapem Poloo received a $30,000 present from the rapper during her April court hearing.

“Cardi backed me up; she provided me $30,000.00 to spend during my court battle and she gave me constant advice,” Poloo added.

It may be remembered that Akuapem Poloo was hauled into court for uploading naked photographs of herself and her 7-year-old kid on social media.

She was sentenced to 90 days in prison, but on April 21, 2019, an Accra High Court granted her GH80,000 bail with two sureties.

“Cardi wants to include me and urges me to keep making songs so I can grow my potential,” the actress, who is also a musician, said.
