“Shatta Wale Didn’t Measure The Extent His Prank Shooting Incident Will Go” – Andy Dosty

Andy Dosty, the Ghanaian radio personality, and experienced disc jockey claim that dancehall musician Shatta Wale failed to consider the fallout from the reportedly staged gunshot event that caused panic and dread across the country.

The arrest of the Shatta Movement President and two others who helped with the hoax, Kojo Owusu Koranteng, and Eric Venator, he claims, is the basis for such a stance.

“I'm sure he didn't gauge or realize the degree to which this might lead him,” Evans Mensah said on PM Express. Whose risk is it to be where he is? After that, he implicates two or three others. As a result, I believe he did not measure the extent.

“I'm sure he believed it was one of those things he could drag out there, put some bars over it, and walk away with.”

On the broadcast, however, Kwame Agyemang Berko, Head of Communications of Stonebwoy's Burniton Music Group, called Shatta Wale's claimed prank “false.”

“There are instances of brilliance that artists dabble in, for the same reason of being famous or relevant,” he added. I'm not seeing the genius here; I'm seeing gibberish.

“When you read some phrases from his article, you'll see that they impugn the police service's credibility. You're attempting to prove that the police force is almost useless and that when you were foretold to suffer anything, they were inactive and did nothing,” he explained.

Their remarks follow Shatta Wale's hoax to bring attention to certain preachers' ominous prophecies in the country.

On Monday, Kojo Owusu Koranteng and Eric Venator, two close associates of the award-winning musician, rushed to social media to report that the “Ayoo” hitmaker, who recently turned 37, had been attacked by unknown assailants.
