“Shatta Wale Wasn’t Apologizing When He Knelt Down In Front Of The IGP” – Arnold Asamoah Explains Why Shatta Wale Really Knelt Down (Video)
Shatta Wale's viral photo kneeling down in front of the IGP wasn't because he was sorry for his wrongdoing, according to entertainment commentator Arnold Asamoah Baido.
During their meeting with the IGP, Shatta Wale had some difficulties with certain police officers, and after a few hours, a photo of him kneeling in front of the IGP went viral, with some thinking he swallowed his pride to apologize, but Arnold Asamoah insists this is not the truth.
According to Arnold Asamoah of UTV's United Showbiz, Shatta Wale knelt in front of the IGP to appeal to him to let musicians and performers live their lives as they like, rather than pretending to live a different life.
Shatta Wale had previously appealed with the IGP and DCOP Kofi Boakye back doors following the incident they had, according to Arnold Asamoah, and merely knee down in front of the IGP to vent his disgust with how they were being handled and also requested to be let to live their own lives.
DCOP Kofi Boakye sought to be locked in a room during the incident between Shatta Wale and several police officers, according to Arnold Asamoah, but certain industry heavyweights begged on his behalf and he subsequently apologized.
As a result, the viral photo of Shatta Wale kneeling in front of the IGP wasn't a plea, but rather a request that they be allowed to live their life as they like, rather than pretending to be someone they aren't.
