“Don’t Be Like Twene Jonas, Say Good Things About Ghana When You Have The Chance To” – Mark Okraku Mantey
Ghanaian music producer and the current Deputy Minister for Tourism, Arts and Culture has urged Ghanaians in the diaspora who have a voice and are listened to most to sell out the country in a positive way rather than being like Twene Jonas.
Mark Okraku Mantey made his assertion when speaking on Daybreak Hitz with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM. When speaking on the program, the honourable lauded the president of Ghana, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo, for making the country the center of tourism where money is generated from that side.
Speaking about the Easter celebration in Kwahu, he applauded the president for going to the grounds when a performance was going on when he could have stayed home in Kwahu as he visited the town for the Easter holidays.
He has pleaded with Ghanaians who have the microphone and are heard by people outside the country to always talk positively about this nation when they have the chance to. He entreated them not to be like loudmouthed Twene Jonas.
