BulldogNAM 1 deserves a statue for what he did for the entertainment industry – Bulldog

Bulldog, a former repertoire manager for the long-gone Zylofon Music, has suggested that a huge statue be built in 's honor.

Bulldog asserts that has contributed more to the music industry than any other businessperson, both historically and currently.

During an interview on HITZ FM's “U Say Weytin” program, Bulldog discussed NAM 1's significant influence on our showbiz sector and praised Nana Appiah Mensah for pouring significant sums of money into our creative sector.

Bulldog claims that up until the MenzGold scandal, NAM 1 had grand plans and was diligently working to elevate Ghanaian music to the top.

He boasted about how the popularity of Shatta Wale's “Gringo” music video changed perceptions of Ghanaian music.

He said;

“Zylofon was responsible for those international plugs… I was head of Zylofon as the CEO of Zylofon Music. Shatta came to meet me at Zylofon and we signed him on and there was a deliberate attempt to push every Zylofon act… check Shatta Wale's Gringo. Have you seen anything like that in the history of Ghana?

“Apart from the fact that I lost my funds with Menzgold, no record label had come like Zylofon. He bought cars and houses and gave them money. NAM1 deserves a statue in Ghana for what he did for the entertainment space.”

All these numbers these boys are running would have been done way before. Here we are, we had to cut our own trees down and let foreign ones grow.”

In other news, Entertainment pundit and former manager of Shatta Wale, Bullgod, says he will always love the dancehall artist.

Speaking in an interview with Prince Tsegah on U Say Weytin, Bullgod claims that despite his mild dispute with the award-winning musician, he still has a love for him.

According to Bullgod, his recent outburst on social media is mainly direct him to take the right path in the industry.

“My love for him will never die and that is why I am still on his case. If I don't get close to him to tell him what I have to say privately, he will hear from me every day from now publicly,” he said on Hitz FM.
