‘Sika mp3 dede’ – Shatta Wale reacts to Akufo-Addo’s viral quote
Controversial dancehall and afrobeat musician Shatta Wale has responded to the president's well-known economic crisis speech statement.
The president of the republic, Nana Addo, spoke to the nation about the economic difficulties and the depreciation of the cedi against the dollar in the late hours of yesterday.
The president of Ghana gave a speech to the country and urged the people to stop griping too much about the devaluation of the cedi. Akufo Addo emphasized his point by stating, “Fellow Ghanaians, as the French would say, l'argent n'aime pas le bruit, to put it another way, money does not like noise, sika mp dede.”
“Where there is chaos, where there is noise, where there is unrest, you will not find the money. If you talk down your money, it will go down. If you allow some unidentifiable person to talk down your money, it will go down,” he stressed.
Reacting to the new quote from the president, Shatta Wale took to his Twitter page to tweet, “Sika mp3 dede, I for feature this man la 😂😂😂😂”.
