I Will Beat Musicians Who Will F00l With Our Legends – Confused Shatta Wale Says

The Shatta movement's leader, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, best known as the artist Shatta Wale, has urged his fans to show respect for the forefathers of Ghana's music business, even when they disagree with them.

The well-known musician, who engaged in a verbal altercation with Reggie Rockstone of hip-hop and dancehall music a few years back, claims that he never crossed the line by downplaying their influence.

In a Facebook video, rapper Sarkodie was called out by Shatta Wale for insulting his senior coworker Samini because of his notoriety.

“Your dream is to be like Samini,” he added. Shout out to Reggie Rockstone: “You see, sometimes I fight with these folks, but God will bless me because I have that image of them as legendary in my head.” I don't want to lose that image of the person who has to be in front of me. Reggie Rockstone will cause me problems, but because you see him as a pioneer, godfather, and legend, forget about it all.

“Now, any artist who messes with a big artist will be beaten up by me.” What do you know? The faking has gotten out of control. Where were you when KK Fosu, Tic Tac, and Kokoveli were popular? Do you want to flex them today? “I'll lash you,” he threatened.
