Let’s Teach Our Children How To Speak Our Local Languages, It’s Important – King Ayisoba Says

King Ayisoba, the Ghanaian alternative artist, advised Ghanaians to learn how to teach their children to speak their own local language in an appearance on Atinka TV's morning program, Ghana Nie.

He noted that the majority of parents do not speak to or teach their children in their native tongue. He further noted that many people end up speaking Twi with practically everyone due to migration, even in Ghana, because their parents do not converse with them in their native tongue at home.

He stated that it is crucial for people to be aware of the language used in their country of origin, despite the fact that he has nothing against other people's languages.

“Our own local language is crucial, therefore let's teach our kids to speak it,” he remarked.
