Money Will Be Showered On You At An Event And The Event Organiser Will Take Everything – Moses OK Laments
Moses Osei Kwarteng, better known by his stage name Moses OK, has admitted that there was a time when the gospel music business in Ghana was not successful. As a result, he received only GH50 for traveling from Kumasi to Tema to perform at a show.
The seasoned gospel artist spoke candidly about the difficulties he encountered during his peak, including getting underpaid for his performances, during an interview on Adom FM.
“At certain periods, someone may invite you to a program and provide you with 50 cedis for transportation. I recall performing a performance in Tema.
“I was invited by a Kumasi native. I arrived via a STU bus. Transport wasn't that expensive back then, he noted.
Moses OK bemoaned the fact that during his concerts, some people would offer him money, but the event coordinators would take it all, leaving him with little to show for his efforts.
“The man gave me GH 50 after the show.” Because of the way I was ministering, I became ill in the automobile. “We had a lot of problems like that; some people threw money at me, but they grabbed it all,” he continued.
