Rapper Kwame Nsiah Apau, known on stage as ,(@OkyeameKwameBra) has been appointed ambassador for the Junior Boys Mentoring Conference.
The Junior Boys Mentoring Conference, the brainchild of the Tod Teen Republic, is a youth-focused non-governmental initiative with a vision which is targeted at empowering and equipping the younger generation.

The initiative seeks to equip young people with the necessary knowledge and skills that will enable them tackle challenges as they come into contact with the outside world.
Tod Teen Republic in a press statement said, was selected based on the fact that he is one artiste who has impacted Ghana positively through his music and Hepatitis B initiative and has also led an exemplary life as musician with strong family values and great appeal to the youth.
The rapper's ambassadorial reign will last for a year and his duties will include mainly counselling “our boys and provide mentoring for boys with musical potential.”
The Junior Boys Mentoring Conference was launched in Accra on September 24 and will hold its first major event on November 7.
The November 7 event, dubbed the premier Junior Boys Mentoring Conference, will gather selected young boys from schools, orphanages and single parent homes under one umbrella to discuss challenges and issues boys encounter as they approach adulthood.
CEO of Tod Teen Republic, Mrs. Ethel Marfo speaking at the launch stressed on the need for Ghanaians to pay particular attention to boys because they eventually grow into men and serve as an indispensable part of a healthy family.
“Healthy families create robust communities that serve as the foundation for the ever advancement and improvement of the society,” she noted.
Mrs. Marfo urged Ghanaians to join hands in one accord to “ensure that mentoring is no longer a privilege but a necessity for our boys in preparing them for the future.”
Through the help of personalities like Okyeame Kwame, the initiative hopes to form Junior Boys Clubs in the basic schools and also help setup a Boys Resource Centre which will be equipped with a library, a cinema, a gym and a -cook yourself – restaurant where young boys can have full access to mentorship and life coaching.
A successful musician, Okyeame Kwame is married to beautiful Annica and has two lovely children.
