It’s Been Tough After MTN Hitmaker – OV Reveals

Mtn Hitmaker 2018 winner, Okailey Verse popularly known as OV, who has since emerging the ultimate winner has worked really hard which has in turn earned her a signing onto one of the top labels in Ghana, Bhim Nation Global owned by popular award winning act Stonebwoy. Her hard work has also earned her a nomination for the Unsung Category at this year's Vodafone Ghana music awards.

In an interview granted by blogger, Ghkwaku on his popular YouTube talk show “ON THE SPOT WITH GHKWAKU”, At the just ended VGMA nominees Announcement , OV disclosed that, it has been tough for her in the music industry after MTN hitmaker, even though she got signed onto a top record label. But she believes it will be well some days to come.

Ov expressed great sentiments for being nominated as an unsung artist of the year and feels good despite being nominated in just a single category.

Ov said; “I am not a mainstream act yet, I am learning”, with a logical and physical glamour, when asked whether she is a mainstream or unsung.

She believes any of the artists in her categories makes the grade for the award but she hopes to win.

She promised her fans to await good music from her, even though she has no distinct intentions of releasing an album or Ep this year (2019).

Ov revealed that “Bhimnation” is the biggest record label in Ghana and feels good to find herself on the label.
