Keta Business College performed in a Broadway Regional drama festival organized by heritage of Africa, an Accra based production house. Out of ten schools invited only four showed up. These were Ketabusco, Spaco, Ketasco and Ho Mawuli.
The event took place in Keta Senior High School campus on Saturday, 27th April, 2019. The audience were thrilled with great performances. Ketabusco Stage stars a.k.a Masters of the stage, took the competing schools to the cleanest.
They exhibited high level of creativity which got their competitors on their feet with thunderous applause. The sketch, left tears in the eyes of many. No other competitor could come close to the standards set by the stage stars.
They swept – Supporting Actor, – Best Sound – Best Costume – Best Stage Design – Best Director And the Overall Winner. Ketasco emerged second, Ho Mawuli third and St. Paul's fourth. When a section of the stage stars were interviewed on their victory.
They said they knew they were going to win because, ‘this competition is not a Keta Municipality organized inter school cultural festival'. They alleged the winner of that event in the drama category especially is always determined before the start of the event. But with Heritage of Africa, they are much comfortable knowing very well there will be fairness in their judgement.
By this performance, the school has won a slot to perform in the national event come November. They also promised winning the national event.
The actors together with their director cum patron seized the opportunity to call on all coronats to support them in the forthcoming national event. Congratulations to Keta Business College. Coronats, we are truly enough.
