This past Friday, Ghanaian afrobeats and reggae/dancehall star, Stonebwoy, dropped his follow up single “,” which exclusively premiered on largeup.com.

With less than a week in rotation, “” has already been featured on a number of globally major streaming platforms, including five of Apple Music's playlists (Best of the Week, Ghana Bounce, A-List African, Future Hits, Run Things) and Spotify's New Music Fridays.

Not to mention, he graced the cover of Deezer's Afrodisiac and Ghana's Hottest Tracks and was also featured on their Brand New Dancehall playlist, what a week!
This comes on the heels of dropping his first single, “Shuga,” to his fourth studio album, due out next year, which features dancehall legend himself, Beenie Man a.k.a The Doctah! In only a few months, “Shuga” has garnered over 1.6M streams and 1.7M YouTube views.

At a career height, Stonebwoy delivers tunes that feed the soul all while effortlessly merging afrobeats, dancehall, and reggae culture. Priding himself on uniting his people through his music, Stonebwoy is intentional about highlighting the similarities not only between Ghana and Jamaica but the entire diaspora.

As Stonebwoy continues to celebrate the success of Epistles of Mama (2017), which peaked at #13 on the Billboard World Charts and earned him a 3Music Award for becoming the most streamed album across digital platforms from Ghana, including Africa's top streaming service, Boomplay Music.
Stonebwoy promotes peace, love, and unity in all that he does. This can be seen in “Tuff Seed” as he dedicates the song to everyone facing struggles and reminds his listeners, we are all tough seeds that can't be dug up. This was also seen when he became the first Ghanaian to perform at renowned Jamaican music festival, Reggae Sumfest, last summer and when he organized the largest peace concert in Ghana, Ashaiman to the World in 2018.
