Akuapem Poloo Remanded By Court After Sharing Nude Photos With Her Son
Ghanaian socialite and actress, Rosemond Brown, well known as Akuapem Poloo has reportedly been convicted by the court after sharing some nude photos with her 7-year-old son.
Recall in 2020, Akuapem Poloo was dragged by netizens on social media after she shared a naked photo of herself with her son. She was dragged to court for abusing the rights of the child.
After months of dragging the case through the courts, she was convicted in her own plea by the Circuit Court in Accra.
She earlier pleaded not guilty when she was first arraigned, but changed her plea on Wednesday.
In recent developments on the case, EIB Network's Murtala Inusah has reported that the accused has pleaded guilty to all three charges. Her Honour Christina Cann who presided over the case convicted the accused on her own plea.
He said that the court has postponed her sentencing until Friday, April 16, 2021, to allow her to take a pregnancy test as required by law for a woman who has pleaded guilty in court.
She has, however, been remanded in detention in order for the prosecution to transport her to any Government hospital for the paternity test.
