Nigerian top musician Peter Okoye, often known as Mr P in the music industry, has landed his first Nollywood role in a new film.
The prominent singer and performer, who was formerly the better half of the musical duet ‘PSquare,’ made her Nollywood debut in a new film titled ‘Lockdown,’ in which he portrays the CEO of his real-life firm Zoom Lifestyle.
Mr P’s followers are expressing their excitement and delight over their superstar’s newly discovered gift, which will be the first time he explores his gift outside of music and making major economic decisions.
Mr P has been utilizing his Zoom Lifestyle draw to give back to society by holding daily draws in which he awards millions of naira to lucky winners around the country. He usually contacts the winner live on Instagram to inform them that they have won the prize.
He portrayed the same character in the film ‘Lockdown,’ which was released in Nigerian theatres on May 28th. He encourages his fans and followers to view the film, in which he believes he performed well in his debut appearance in Nollywood.
