addressed the Ghanaian music business in a video that debuted on his YouTube account on June 2, 2021, about what he did in the United States of America and other topics.

presented a well-scripted address, recorded in his office and broadcast on his YouTube channel, in contrast to his regular polemics on Facebook Live.

The following are some key takeaways from his speech:

He announced his return to social media after a hiatus.

He said he traveled to the US for a vacation, but ended up shooting three music videos and recording roughly five songs for his next album, “Gift of God.”

He has advised that music industry stakeholders work together to come up with a distinctive music genre that would help Ghana sell internationally.

Major and well-attended yearly entertainment events, he believes, should be decentralized. that is should be held in all parts of Ghana.

Ghanaian musicians, he urged, should take the commercial side of their craft seriously.

Shatta Wale believes Ghanaians should make it a goal to play 90% Ghanaian music and 10% international music.

He recommended the authorities promote the country by using music as a tourism strategy.

He went on to say that if the state could invest 10% of its sports budget in music, it would catapult the music sector to new heights.

However, whatever Shatta Wale said in there is very trye and we also think it can help us sell our music to the world.
